I’m Sara Hinkley, an author and costume designer living in Brooklyn, NY.
My debut novel, historical gothic vampire horror The Red Sacrament, a “savage, hypnotic” dive into the lives and deaths of a theatre troupe of vampires in Paris 1869, is out now from Titan Books.
My costume design work has included film, television, theatre, dance, and opera, and I’ve recently been Assistant Costume Designer/Shopper on The Off Weeks, an upcoming project for Apple TV.
I’m a proud union member of USA 829 IATSE. My literary representation is Isabel Kaufman at Fox Literary.
